Happy New Year!

We are rapidly coming to the end of the 2nd quarter.  I have reminded student to get back in the habit of checking their schoolview accounts and staying on top of their work as we close out the 2nd quarter of school.

5th grade students will continue to work on an engineering unit.  They recently completed the construction of Humdingers.  This was a task where students were given materials to build a device that would hum and then ding.  The next task will be to build model cars that will need to perform assigned tasks.

6th grade students began a new unit on Force and Motion.  We will begin this unit by learning to calculate and speed and graph the motion of objects.
