Welcome 2012!
We are at the midway point for the second quarter and conferences will be coming up on January 31 and February 2. Mrs. Cooper and I are sending home an email for you to electronically sign up for conferences. Please check your inbox for information. We will be emailing it to the kids as well.
The sixth graders went to The University of Minnesota on January 10th for a program called Energy and U. They enjoyed the program we attended. Professors from the Chemistry Department performed some very exciting demonstrations that helped explain energy. The students were very engaged and enjoyed the experience.
Fifth graders will be traveling to Dodge on January 18 for their monthly data collection and winter activities. One of the winter activities is building a campfire and enjoying s'mores. We are asking for donations of s'more ingredients, (marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers). If you are able to donate please send in the items by Tuesday, January 17.
