It's hard to believe that May begins this week!  Where did the year go?

A couple of events this week that students need to be aware of.  On Wednesday the 5th graders will be going to the Lilydale Brickyards from 9  to 11 a.m. for a field trip on Landforms.  Dress accordingly as the forecast is for cooler temps and possibly some rain.  Also the trails could be a bit muddy in some locations, so old shoes (with laces) to wear on the trip is a wise idea.  Students can change into clean shoes when we return to school.

This field trip will affect lunches.  6th graders will be going to lunch at 10:35 a.m. and the 5th graders will eat lunch at 11:10 a.m.

Also, Friday,  May 3, is mid-quarter.  Students do not have school on this day.

5th graders will continue to study environments and make observations of their terrariums.

6th graders will begin a new unit on Sound and Light.
