Conferences
Fall conferences are scheduled for October 25, 30, and November 1. I will be conferencing with students in my 1st hour science class (5th graders) and a few 6th graders.
5th graders who are having trouble finding ideas for their catapult construction can copy and paste this link for a simple catapult design idea.

Remember, during hours 1, 2 and 3 we will have our version of Pumpkin Chunkin' on October 31. More information is under the 5th grade tab.
6th graders finished thier engineering project that followed the Technological Design Process. Their task was to design and construct a chair out of cardboard. Some great chairs were designed by students. The challenge was for the chairs to hold a minimum of 44 pounds, however some can hold over 200 pounds. Great job! The chairs will be on display during conferences.
