Bring on Spring!
This will be a busy month for the upper blue house. We will be taking the first round of Math MCA tests on Thursday and Friday, March 8 and 9th. You can prepare your child by making sure they get a good nights sleep and eating a good breakfast. Also proper hydration can make the students feel better during the day of testing
Signs of Spring
On Wednesday, March 15 the 5th graders will be going to Dodge Nature Center for their monthly field trip. They will collect the air and water temperature and observe their specific tree. We will then listen to a presentation on Maple Syruping.
Another sign Spring... Also on March 15, the sixth graders will be traveling to Target Field for a Math and Science Through Baseball experience. We will be leaving at 9:00 am and returning at 1:00 pm. Students need to dress for the weather as part of the trip will be spent outside. Students are encouraged to bring cameras as we will also get a behind the scenes tour of the ballpark. Students also need to bring form home or order a lunch from school. Since we will not eat lunch until 1:00, encourage students to eat a good breakfast and bring a small snack to eat before we get on the bus.
