5th graders had the opportunity to hold chickens today during science. Pam from the Dodge Nature Center brought 5 chickens to class today.
6th graders finished up their simple machine presentations today. Neat and creative work by many.
The energy bike outside my classroom is powering a computer monitor. Students are pedaling to charge a battery which is supplying power to the monitor. They are quickly learning that it takes a lot of mechanical energy to make electricity to power one small monitor.
The tulip grew about 4 cm over night. We can't wait to see the still image photos.
